Cold Front, developed by RachelDrawsThis in collaboration with Studio InvestiGrave, is a narrative-driven horror adventure made in RPG Maker.
The game tells the story of Augustine and Winnie, two best friends about to part ways as Winnie prepares to start university. Wanting to spend one last day together, they set out on a drive—but their plans are cut short when an unexpected blizzard traps them in the middle of summer.
Players must guide the pair through a tense and surreal journey filled with puzzles, exploration, and disturbing encounters. Dialogue choices and decisions shape the direction of the story, leading to two possible endings that reveal different sides of the characters’ relationship.
With an estimated playtime of 45–60 minutes, the experience combines atmospheric pixel art, a chilling soundtrack, and psychological tension. It blends friendship drama with supernatural elements to create a compact but impactful horror tale.
At its heart, Cold Front is about jealousy, regret, and the fragility of bonds when confronted by fear and isolation.
