Clickolding
Clickolding, a creation by Strange Scaffold, sets players in a hauntingly obscure scenario where choices shape both the narrative and psychological landscape. Inside a dimly lit hotel room, participants are confronted by a masked individual, compelling them to interact with an intricately designed 3D mechanical counter. The game poses a dilemma: remain and manipulate the counter, delving deeper into an unfolding mystery, or leave and abandon potential gains and revelations.
As players engage with the counter, they weave the threads of a narrative that is as much about the eerie, dream-like dialogues with the masked figure as it is about the choices that steer the plot. These decisions not only affect the storyline but also transform the player’s and the character’s perception of reality. The suspense is intensified by a score of avant-garde jazz composed by RJ Lake, enhancing the game’s surreal and unnerving atmosphere. Locked doors and obscured truths add layers of intrigue, inviting players to explore the limits of their curiosity and bravery.
