Lights Out
Lights Out is a short horror experiment with a retro PSX look. You return home after a draining day, expecting peace, but something disturbs the quiet. The creature only shows itself when the room is swallowed by darkness. Switch the light back on, and it vanishes as if it was never there.
The game is inspired by the 2013 short film of the same name, turning a simple idea into a tense and unsettling experience. Rather than overwhelming you with loud jump scares, it builds fear through atmosphere and the thought of what might be waiting beyond your sight.
Made entirely in Unreal Engine 4 by a single developer, this project captures the feeling of a nightmare you can’t shake off. It’s brief, strange, and designed to leave you uneasy long after you’ve turned the lights out.
